Nothing Beats Fringe Theatre
I have always appreciated the artistic freedom of fringes. They are a great way to introduce new actors, playwrights and other special talents. Fringe theatre gives new talent a chance to shine and be seen. Fringes give artists so much freedom to show their work in anyway they choose as opposed to the traditional theatre where everything is based on the original production and there is not much wiggle room. This isn’t to say that traditional theatre is not a recognized valuable form of entertainment. On the contrary, many people prefer traditional theatre over fringe theatre. However, if you are a new actor with a certain talent to show, you might want to consider fringe theatre to get noticed. Now, if only America would open their eyes to the fascinating world of fringe theatre.
Unfortunately i’m not going to make it to the edinburgh festival this year. I’m going to have to stay back here and work. We are doing a massive roll out on work and it’s my job to make sure it all goes out prefectly. I knwo they are templated but we still had to write the text.
