Why Musicians Need A Website
Me and Andy just had a argument about this. I think just about every famous musician whether it be a rock star, country singer or rap star has a website. Why are websites so important for a musician? Well, it is the same thing as branding a pair of jeans. Sure Levi’s made a great pair of form fitting jeans, however, it is the fact that they are able to brand their name all over every pair that really made the difference. Same goes for musicians. When they create a website for themselves, it is a form of branding themselves. They have their own personal page to include information about their music, bio’s, gossip, family, best selling cd’s or whatever else. The Internet is the biggest marketing tool worldwide and if a musician doesn’t utilize this powerful tool, they are jeopardizing their fame and fortune.
